A few parents have voluntarily offered for us to share the impact the opportunity to work with Vivian has had in their lives.

One story:

The above video clip is a brief showing of the pure joy his mother explained he is expressing after having his first ever recital. He is nonverbal, and when he and his mom are invited places, it is usually simply to touch bubbles with the others, never to truly participate. Vivian was so in tune with his needs, and with each other student at the recital. For this boy, she had a few students go first, then asked him if he wanted his turn. He acted surprised, but with a little encouragement from mom, he went up to the keyboard to play with Vivian. His video is the homepage welcome. His mom fought back the tears seeing the happy, joy, pride, and excitement so obvious to her in him at being involved like this for the first time.

Among the several skills she is helping him with, like regulation and fine motor skills, Vivian is helping him learn the confidence in playing music on his own, and making exciting improvements with her guidance in what is clearly a love for music.
